Update
Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on my site so I thought I’d take this quiet spell and just write a brief9 update on what this screaming code monkey has been up to. Well works been going great been doing some cool overhauling and interface cleaning up on the Wp-E-Commerce Plugin. Version 3.7 is in it’s late beta version so a small amount of kinks and quirks need to be straightened out but it shouldn’t be too far from release. Some cool features I’ve had to play around with include:
- A snazzy new Purchase Logs page
- A jCrop tool for product thumbnails (if anyone has some good resources or examples of this please let me know, it’s been hard to get it cross-browser compatible)
- A couple of new gateways (hopefully completed for full release)
- A re-implementation of google checkout
This month was also the start of a new project. Working for a client in Malaysia I’ve been chugging away to create a wordpress wiki website for the scientific cataloging of wildlife in Sabah, Malaysia.
This has been a great experience so far, we are still in the early stages of development. I believe the backbone functionality is in place but we still have a bit of functionality to work on before we start skinning the site. I’ll blog about this in a later post when the site is on it’s way out.
